Therapy is approximately 45- 60mins.
45 min sessions $150.
60 min sessions $ 170.
I am currently out of network with an insurance provider, but I offer a monthly superbill for possible reimbursement. I recommend reaching out to your insurance to ensure coverage or checking on the Mentaya website. The link can be found below.
You can contact your insurance company for a possible reimbursement from them and I can provide you with a superbill on a monthly basis to present it to your insurance company or enter your information into Mentaya to conveniently verify your estimated reimbursement for therapy before booking.
It consists of a series of questions, to name a few, briefly exploring your present problem, whether it's your first time in therapy or you've been before, expectation to make sure the therapist is the best fit for you based on your issues. During the consultation process, we invite and encourage you to ask questions regarding any concerns you may have.
Radiant Authentic Soul Therapy works with the BIPOC and LGBTQ+ populations aged 20 and older.
It provides enough time for in-depth exploration of complex issues, building trust, processing, and developing strategies without feeling rushed.
I highly recommend a 60 min session when interested in EMDR/Somatic processing.
Radiant Authentic Soul Therapy offers limited sliding scale spots based on income. The sliding scale rate ranges from $95 to $150.
Therapy is not linear, and there's no specific time or length of therapy. Every individual has a unique story. Some may come for short-term or long-term therapy, depending on where they are in their healing journey. We will collaboratively work to create therapeutic goals that best fit your concerns.
Weekly sessions are recommended because they will offer the most effective and best outcomes for feeling better. Research shows that weekly sessions lead to a stronger therapeutic alliance between the client and therapist, faster improvement, and a higher opportunity of recovery. It assists in building trust and a healthy/consistent routine, permitting for frequent progress monitoring and timely adjustment to the treatment goals.
Bi-weekly sessions happen with collaborative efforts between the client and therapist after meeting on a weekly basis, and when both notice there’s stabilization from intense therapy, therapeutic goals are met, and the client can practice skills independently between sessions. This can eventually move to every three weeks, then monthly, and then the termination phase.
Cancellation & rescheduling policy: If you are unable to attend a session, you must contact your therapist at least 24 hours in advance before your scheduled session, otherwise you will be charged the full session fee for late cancellation or no show. Insurance does not cover these fees and are fully responsible for the payment. This fee is waived ONCE per calendar year.
If you request a cancellation after the 24-hour window, you will be granted the option to reschedule within the same week. If you are unable to reschedule and/or make your rescheduled appointment within the week, a late fee will be charged.
3 out of 5 canceled or missed appointment within a 6 week period may lead to termination unless a pause has been previously discussed with the therapist.
Payment Policy: If payment is declined, the therapist will request for a new payment to be entered on the file before the provider can proceed with the scheduled appointment/session.
If payment is not completed within 48 hours of the next scheduled appointment, the session will be interrupted.
Radiant Authentic Soul Therapy accepts all credit, debit, and HSA/FSA payment methods.
I understand circumstances sometimes happen outside of our control, we recommend that you please communicate and we can figure something out so that the session will not be interrupted.
Online or In-person Therapy: Radiant Authentic Soul Therapy only offers online therapy sessions. We understand that online therapy can bring discomfort and limit human contact, or it may depend on your preferences. I assure you that if you give me a chance, your process will be a great experience. Studies show that online therapy is as effective as in-person therapy for many mental health conditions, and both are not significantly different.
How to Prepare for Therapy: There is “no right way or wrong way” to prepare for therapy. Please be yourself, wear comfortable clothes, and bring a notebook and pen, a cup of tea, a bottle of water, a box of tissues, a journal, fidget toys, stuffed animals, you name it, that ground and soothe your nervous system.
