I believe that life at times can be like a roller coaster ride. There are ups and downs, twists and turns, and sometimes we feel like we’re hanging upside down with no control. However, with the right effort and assistance we can learn to navigate these ups and downs and enjoy the ride.

I work with people who are experiencing a consistent state of being in survival mode, maladaptive behavior or life patterns that they wish to get out of. Over time these constant patterns and survival modes have made aspects of life difficult to manage. They have an understanding of what these patterns are but are not sure of how to stop them or why they are occurring, this is where I come in. I use a roll up your sleeve approach and we begin working on building the capacity to navigate the complexity of life. I assist with slowing you down and embracing the discomfort. I provide healthy resources/coping mechanisms and supportive techniques/strategies to help you recognize the underlying root cause(s) of your unhealthy thoughts and behaviors and develop alternative behaviors and patterns that can better help you to ride the roller coaster of life.

With compassion, patience, and time, I believe we can work collaboratively to unlearn maladaptive patterns, enhance your capacity to effectively manage life's challenges, and recognize the progress you make toward becoming the best version of yourself.
